My final summer activity (besides relaxing and hanging out!) is raising my first reptile! I am raising a bearded dragon. It has been quite an experience. At first I was afraid I wouldn't be able to keep him alive. Now, I am wondering hwo to keep the crickets alive long enough for him to not go hungry! He is a BIG eater!!!

I used to have an iguana. Reptiles are surprising easy to become attached to. Iguanas and bearded dragons both get to be huge in size!
ReplyDeleteDreamsicle molted once again - so here he grows again!!! His coloring is turning more orange and yellow - which is very exciting. Poor fellow - he has been dependent on my husband while I have pnemonia.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I could raise any form of reptile! They creep me out for some reason, but yours is super cute! Enjoy the fun this summer.
ReplyDeleteI love having a pet reptile, but feeding him live crickets and meal worms definately takes some getting used to. My husband is not a big reptile fan, but is getting adjusted to handling Dreamy! He is a cute little fellow and has a fun personality! Yes - reptiles have personality.
